Every comic book on the stands is getting a movie and Ambush Bug wants in. Now, he must face the most terrifying villian imaginable - the Hollywood System. When an evil producer tells him no one would possibly want to see his movie, Ambush Bug realizes what he needs to do. And so, he sets out to find the only thing that can help get him on the silver screen, a big name guest star. Cameos abound as Ambush Bug searches for someone, anyone, that will appear in his movie.
Ambush Bug: The Movie is writer/director Skott Stotland's first film. The plot was loosely inspired by Action Comics #565, Ambush Bug Nothing Special #1, and the fact that Man-Thing has a movie and Ambush Bug, sadly, does not.
